This story of Luke and adoption, as well as our pastors message surely left me realizing my decision this past December to leave a job of almost ten years, a place I loved for a chance to work with foster children in a similar capacity was the path God has carved for me. Each visit I make to the homes of these children so broken, yet resilient in nature breaks my heart through the entrance door, but inspires me on the way out, knowing the love God has shown them in placing them in the homes of people who have so selflessly given them. Our pastor almost had this man in tears that Sunday when he mentioned the man he knew up front who himself was adopted and applauded God’s work in his life to take up his roots and find a foundation within the church. God bless your friends and their efforts.

Praise God Rob…on your decision. Clearly you are right where He would have you!
